Ms Reese Guo. Ms Reese holds a Bachelor Degree in Material Science from the National University of Singapore. Her experiences gain during her years as an Engineer and a Secondary School teacher allows her to link knowledge in textbooks to real life applications during her teaching.

Now as a professional educator, she finds joy in making learning enjoyable for students and developing students to their fullest potential. In addition to concept reinforcement, she teaches problem solving techniques to equip students with undemanding tools to solve various types of questions related to a concept. During problem solving, simple questions are first provided for learners to deepen their concept understanding. She then gradually advances to more challenging questions, building on previous knowledge. She advocates this progressive learning method to ensure that students work within their ability and be able to improve with ease. Thus, students become more engage during lessons.

Besides imparting knowledge to students, Ms Reese is constantly aware of her students’ learning attitude and mindset, and helps them improve their learning habits and stimulate positive thinking patterns, which can be put into use not only in Math learning but in other subjects and life skills as well.

Constantly exploring new and useful teaching methodologies to improve students’ ability in Math and to develop good learning habits in them, Ms Reese has helped many students create interest in their learning and attain new heights in their academic results.
